What was the most challenging aspect of this unit? Explain.

Critique the overall human for in art research project. Should this project be taught in ninth grade Humanities English? Why or why not?



The most challenging aspect in this unit was picking a artist but not getting much information about it. When i couldn't find much about my artist i changed my artisted but then i talked to my teacher mrs.hodge and she told me that i didn't have to worry about getting much on the artist. Being in the computer lab alot. The whole process of the project helped me learn so much about art works and now i actually have a favorite artist. I had to change my painting so that really messed me up because i kind of had to restart all over. Getting what i excepted on the art went bad. The project would be better ifi had more information on the artist and painting backround. No, this project should not be taught in the ninth-grade because it is such a hard project that makes you think too much and i think freshmen shouldn't be dealing with that their first year of high school.

This is one of Eduardo’s paintings. This painting gives me a sad feeling. It shows three girls working hard. One of the girls are kneeling on the floor and cutting carrots. The other girls are getting water from the big pot. The color Eduardo’s has used are not bright or eye catching there dall and sad colors .

Where are you in terms of the project?


Well, to be honest i'm kind of confused and i'm having a very hard time trying to put together this blog because i don't really know how to use this blog. Now i'm getting some help from a friend and just catching up on the blogging. I'm answering the rest of the assignments from the past couple weeks as you can probably see.

What piece of art or pieces of art have you narrowed down your choice to? What did you learn today? What are your next steps? What will you need to spend your time doing on Friday in the computer lab?



I first had a diffuclt time putting my chosen art piece on this blog but, since this painting is by the same artist i decided to just use this art piece. I haven't learned much yet but i'm planning to get to learning more about my art piece. My next steps are really focusing on the art piece and getting more information about it. Just continue from where i left off.
